Same problem here, but worse... I have a GEDCOM file I created in PAF (the LDS church software) in 1996, haven't touched it since. Decided to get your software and edit it. The import says "0 Persons Loaded" then shows a huge chart with no names, just "... ..." and if I mouse over I see "6 children" or whatever number of children, that's all. Pretty useless, going to try GRAMPS.

Don't give up so quickly.
Some years ago i also imported a GEDCOM-File from PAF into Ahnenblatt and everything was allright.

If you want, you can send me your PAF-File and your GEDCOM-File as PN and i'll try to find out what is worse.

Or you show us a part of your GEDCOM-File in this forum.

To help you on your issue, could you please post the header of your GEDCOM-PAF file.
Just open it in a normal text editor and copy&paste the first couple lines of it into this forum.
