Hello.

In Spain we have two birth names.
For examle:

My father is Manuel Barrera Ruiz
My Mother is Florentina Cobacho Real

So I have both first birth names, that is

Manuel Barrera Cobacho

And my sisters are

Sacramento Barrera Cobacho
Marta Barrera Cobacho

Is there a posibility to have two birth names

Best regards
Manuel

You just can use both names in the field "birth names". Or is there a problem when using two names in it?

I see the problem with the next children. With 1 Name is there automatically the right name, but with both not. Isnt' it?

No, suggestion of Ahnenblatt is always the birth name of the father. Everything else has to be edited by the user - but there is no problem changing the birth name of a person.

Yes, but with the system like Spain is it no more automatically. That's not really a problem, but an other system ;)

Hello hpsk,

Right, and it's the same thing with other name systems- like sweden, iceland etc.:

father: lars svenson, son of sven gustafsson
his son: erik larsson
his daughter: britta eriksdottir

would you need an automatic system for japan, bali or ecuador?

even in germany you often have different names of father and son, then you have to replace the proposal name- no problem
